For outdoor women of Summit County looking for some
much-needed healing time in nature.
It’s time to get creative on the ways we take care of ourselves – mind, body, and spirit. Research continues to support the benefits of intentional movement in the outdoors to our overall wellness. Colorado is filled with serene trails and stunning vistas that are perfect to both rest and re-energize.
Join us for a five-week women’s mindful hiking and running group on Saturday mornings in June here Summit County! We’ll focus on a holistic approach to wellness through intention setting, movement, mindfulness, and the power of the mind/body/spirit/nature connection.

The Details:
Who: Women; ages 18+
*All fitness levels welcome!
We challenge you to listen to your body and go at your own pace. Runs/hikes are utilized for intention and reflection, and participants are encouraged to be silent during these sections.
When: Saturday mornings in June and July 1
8:00AM-10:00AM
Where: Summit County, CO
Trailheads to be shared upon registration

Here's what you can expect:
Each session will begin with a 30-minute intentional hike/trail run. Participants will be encouraged to listen to their body and move at their own pace. We will meet at a designated spot after which we will stretch and engage in a simple and grounding yoga flow. Once everyone is feeling settled, our therapist and group facilitator, Carly, will lead a 45-minute discussion and processing session designed to educate, connect, reset, and empower. Sessions will conclude with a 30-minute hike/trail run out intended for reflection and self-insight.


About the facilitator
Carly Schaller, LPCC and eco/adventure therapy specialist
Carly is a therapist and eco/adventure therapy specialist at Grit Therapy. She is also a registered yoga teacher, active travel guide, and is certified in Wilderness First Aid. Carly has led hiking, biking, and yoga trips in more than ten countries including Sweden, Croatia, and Montenegro. As a therapist and group leader, Carly incorporates nature and movement into her practice and emphasizes the importance of connection on wellness. Not only connection to others, but to our minds, our bodies, and our natural world.
