Custom Offerings with Jane Thatcher Hahn, LCSW

Owner/Clinical Director of Grit Therapy

As the founder of Grit Therapy, Jane Thatcher Hahn, LCSW, brings over 20 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and the search for deeper meaning and direction.

In addition to her work as a therapist and social worker, Jane is the co-host of the podcast Are We Happy Yet?—a show that explores the messy, beautiful, and often contradictory pursuit of happiness in modern life.

With a background not only in mental health but also in music, creative writing, and community leadership, Jane specializes in helping people reconnect with their creativity, confidence, and sense of purpose—especially in times of overwhelm, uncertainty, or change.

She offers two unique, high-touch ways to work with her outside of traditional weekly therapy:

🌿 1. The Deep Shift: Custom Retreats for Individuals or Small Groups

Step away from your routine and into a fully customized weekend designed just for you (or you and a few trusted companions). Whether you’re seeking creative renewal, professional support, money mindset shifts, grief support, or emotional healing, The Deep Shift offers a deeply personal space to reflect, reset, and move forward.

🛡️ 2. Hold the Line: A Workshop for the Weary and the Willing

In this four-week online workshop, Jane guides participants through the emotional and historical realities of living in a time of political unrest, climate anxiety, and cultural overwhelm. You’ll build personal resilience, reclaim your agency, and learn how to face hard times without losing yourself in despair or burnout.
